Upcoming young British lingerie designer Georgia Larsen launched her daring Dora Larsen brand in 2016. The brand is unique in its use of subtle, innovative and bold colour combinations and exotic styling. Her shell pinks, lilac greys, snorkel blues, saffron and moss colours appeal particularly to younger women.
Brought up in a creative family, Georgia’s interest in aesthetics and design date from her early years. She started designing clothes at 15 and set up a fashion blog at 18 before getting a job at a major London clothes retailer where she specialized as a lingerie buyer.
Frustrated at the difficulty of finding fashionable bras that fitted well, she eventually decided to launch her own range and set out on a mission to create lingerie that was not only fashionable but well-fitting. Dora Larsen also aims to offer a high-quality range at an affordable price, and the brand is made by one of the leading lingerie specialists in China.
Georgia runs the business with her husband Jake from their studio in Peckham. The Dora in Dora Larsen is named after her childhood dog.
