Hot Pants
Hot Pants are very brief and usually tight-fitting shorts for women and girls, first popularized in the early 1970s. Hot pants, along with mini skirts, might well be the 1960s greatest fashion items. Launched by British fashion designer Mary Quant during the “Swinging London” scene of the mid-1960s, these super short shorts were fashionable until the early 1970s. Hot pants made a major impact on the spring/summer 2020 runways and were styled in such diverse ways that we knew it was only a matter of time before the trend started bubbling in the real world as well. The transition into underwear and lingerie fashion was made more popular as they tend no to have the dreaded VPL and being seamless under most clothes.
