Lise Charmel
Lise Charmel is a by-word for luxury French lingerie and swimwear, known for its exquisite designs and colours in satin, silk, guipure embroideries and Calais lace.
Founded in the heart of Lyon’s silk district in the 1950s, the brand was acquired in 1975 by the designer Jacques Daumal, who remains President of the company. Since then Lise Charmel has won numerous design awards and is renowned for applying the latest material innovations such as the use of guipure and elasticated lace.
Lise Charmel’s sophisticated, embroidered lingerie caters for women from standard to large sizes.
Its contrasting Epure range, launched in 2011, was created by Irène Harrington, the founder and former artistic director of Eres, the Chanel lingerie brand. With Epure, Harrington created a range that is sexy in a refined, simple way like a second skin which follows the contours of your body. Epure is aimed at women who like simplicity, elegance and subtlety.
Recently innovations at Lise Charmel include a fully up-cyclable bra which can also be fully recycled at the end of its life.
