Stella McCartney

One of Britain’s leading fashion designers, Stella McCartney graduated from Central St Martin’s art college in London and launched her own fashion house in 2001.

Now an internationally-known brand, her collections are distributed in 77 countries and in 2008 she launched her own lingerie range. Although best known for high fashion, McCartney is passionate about lingerie because of the impact it has on how women dress and look and she sets out to provide a natural, comfortable look.

“Lingerie has been a personal obsession of mine for a long time and I have always been inspired by it”, she told an interviewer recently.

Her lingerie and swimwear, which she launched in 2016, seek to reflect the aspirational style of women in the 21st century and are known for their incomparable design and quality.

A lifelong vegetarian, Stella McCartney is committed to sustainability throughout her collections, and does not use any leather or fur in her range of designs.
